Annual Gifts
Your tax-deductible gifts to the Annual Fund support SFBGS’ core programs and operations. Your donation supports this beautiful Garden, hundreds of educational programs and important conservation efforts.

Strybing Circle Gifts
Join our premier circle of donors who provide the financial foundation for the Garden Society’s important work in conservation education. Donors who give $1,000 or more to the Annual Fund are included in the Strybing Circle with benefits such as invitations to private tours and events, acknowledgement on the donor wall, in Leaflet, and the Annual Report.

Commemorative Gifts, Memorials and Tributes
Remember a loved one through a memorial gift or honor a special person in your life for their birthday, anniversary or other special occasion while supporting programs at the Botanical Garden. A personal acknowledgement is sent to the family or individual, without reference to the size of the gift, and your tribute is listed in Leaflet, the Garden Society’s newsletter.

Bench Sponsorships
Honor or memorialize someone special by sponsoring a bench in the Botanical Garden.  Each bench carries a personalized plaque.

Matching Gifts
Ever wish you could make your gift dollars go farther? You can -– through your company's Matching Gift program. Thousands of companies, small and large, have Matching Gift programs which double or even triple individual, tax-deductible contributions made by their employees. Your employer may be one of them.

The process is simple: ask your employer if your company participates in a matching gift program. If so, obtain a matching gift form from your personnel office or matching gift coordinator, fill it out completely and send it along with your contribution to:

In-Kind Gifts
Gifts of goods and services help support our horticulture and education efforts, and may provide you with a charitable gift deduction.

Gifts of Stock and other Securities
Giving appreciated stock, mutual funds or other securities can help you avoid capital gains taxes while providing important support to the Gardens. To give a gift of appreciated stock, call Randy Davis, Development Services Manager, at (415) 661-1316, ext 300.
