Membership Levels

Membership begins at $60 per year and is open to all. Sign-Up Online

    Avid Gardener - $60

    • Fully tax deductible
    • All benefits of membership for one individual

    Garden Friends - $75

    • Fully tax deductible
    • All the benefits of membership for two individuals

    Garden Lover - $125



    Garden Steward - $250

    • $225 is tax deductible
    • All the benefits of Garden Lover plus:
    • An additional 10% discount on all SFBGS purchases (classes, plants, books, etc.)
    • One guest pass to the Members-Only Preview of our Annual Spring Plant Sale
    • Acknowledgement in Leaflet and our Annual Report



    Garden Patron - $500

    • $475 is tax deductible
    • All the benefits of Garden Steward plus:
    • Exclusive Garden Patron events
    • Two guest passes to the Members-Only Preview of our Annual Spring Plant Sale



    Strybing Circle - $1000

    • $975 is tax deductible
    • All the benefits of Garden Patron plus:
    • Recognition on the SFBGS donor wall outside the Helen Crocker Russell Library of Horticulture
    • Exclusive Strybing Circle Events
    • Four guest passes to the Members-Only Preview of our Annual Spring Plant Sale



    Garden Keeper- minimum $11/month

    • An ongoing monthly gift of support.
    • Two membership cards
    • Pay monthly, quarterly or annually.
    • Fully tax deductible, and therefore does not include a subscription to Pacific Horticulture.
    • You may even be able to double or triple the impact of your recurring gift to the Garden if your employer offers a matching gift program!
    • Your contributions can be deducted directly from your credit card or bank account. When it's time to renew, just enter a donation amount (minimum $11 per month). We ask you to make a 12-month commitment, but you are free to change or cancel your recurring gift at any time.
    • When your monthly gift is made, you will receive a receipt of your donation. Once a year, we will send you a record of your giving history for tax purposes.


 

Matching Gifts will increase your membership level! Many generous corporations in the Bay Area take part in a matching gift program. If yours does, you can upgrade your membership level. Ask your employer for a matching gift form, fill it out and attach it to your membership information. 

San Francisco Botanical Garden Membership contributions are tax-deductible within the limits prescribed by law.
