Anansi and the Moss-Covered Rock
Eric Kimmel delights children and adults alike with this wonderful re-telling of a West African tale. When Anansi the Spider finds a magical moss-covered rock in the forest he decides to play tricks on Lion, Elephant, Giraffe and Zebra. Little Bush Deer, on the other hand, is not fooled so easily and decides that Anansi the trickster needs to learn a lesson. Kimmel's engaging text and Stevens' playful and vibrant illustrations are a perfect match.
