The Animal Hedge

There once was a farmer who cared deeply for his animals. During a terrible drought, he was forced to sell his animals and move with his three sons to a small house surrounded by a mysterious hedge. The farmer and his sons soon found that the hedge was very special; it helps the person who is clipping it to discover something new about himself. The folk art-inspired illustrations by Bagram Ibatoulline are a perfect compliment to this gentle story.
